Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha via the Great Rift Valley

Begin your Kenya safari adventure with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. . After a short safari briefing, Journey westward through the scenic Great Rift Valley in a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, stopping at a picturesque viewpoint to marvel at sweeping views of this world-renowned geological wonder.

Continue to the serene shores of Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation and frequented by hippos and birds. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lake Naivasha, sailing past submerged trees and curious hippos while spotting African fish eagles, kingfishers, and cormorants. Your peaceful boat ride will take you to Crescent Island, a unique wildlife sanctuary where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, impalas, and waterbucks in a quiet, predator-free environment.

Return to the lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation time, and prepare for an exciting evening visit to Hell’s Gate National Park. Known for its dramatic scenery and geothermal activity, Hell’s Gate offers a chance to cycle or hike through towering cliffs, volcanic formations, and gorges. Keep your eyes peeled for zebras, gazelles, and buffaloes among the rocky terrain.

As the sun sets, return to Enashipai Resort and Spa and enjoy dinner under the stars. Listen to the distant calls of wildlife-an exciting way to start your private Kenya safari.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive to the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact yet biologically rich destination located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingo-lined shores, where thousands of pink birds gather in seasonal displays. The park also provides a sanctuary for endangered rhinos as well as Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, and large herds of buffaloes. Keep your camera ready as you explore acacia woodlands, scenic cliffs, and expansive grasslands teeming with wildlife.

Return to your lodge for dinner and a restful evening immersed in the peaceful ambiance of Kenya’s Rift Valley.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, continue your Kenya safari journey southwest toward the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Drive through scenic escarpments, Maasai villages, and open savannahs before arriving at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Maasai Mara, where golden plains stretch endlessly and the Big Five-lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos roam freely. Between July and October, the Great Migration transforms the landscape as over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River, braving crocodile-infested waters and relentless predators.

Return to camp for a hearty dinner and a night under the African sky.

Day 4: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most iconic safari destination. With picnic lunch in hand, set off after breakfast for an extended game drive across diverse landscapes, from wide savannahs to the banks of the Mara River.

During the Great Migration, witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest river crossings, where drama unfolds at every turn. Even outside migration season, the Mara is rich in wildlife-elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and over 450 bird species thrive here.

Your expert safari guide will navigate to the best wildlife viewing spots.

As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and another memorable night in the bush.

Day 5: Extended Safari in Maasai Mara

After breakfast, enjoy another full day on safari in the Maasai Mara. Venture into lesser-explored regions of the park for intimate wildlife encounters. Seek out leopards in riverine forests or follow elephant herds through golden plains. With more time, you’ll deepen your experience of this spectacular reserve.

Return to camp for dinner and enjoy your final evening in the Famous Mara.

Day 6: Maasai Mara to Amboseli National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Stay: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Similar

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive south toward Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic countryside views and stop along the way for lunch. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and check in, followed by a short rest.

In the late afternoon, head out for your first Amboseli game drive. Known for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli provides rich photographic opportunities. Return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful night.

Day 7: Full Day Safari in Amboseli National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Stay: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Similar

Wake up to stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Today is dedicated to exploring more of Amboseli National Park. Set out for a full day game drive, taking in the park's unique landscapes and impressive wildlife populations. Amboseli is especially known for its photographic opportunities, with elephants often framed perfectly against the mountain.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, followed by more wildlife sightings. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views across the plains, marshes, and distant mountain peaks. Later visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Amboseli to Nairobi and Flight to Diani

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a final game drive as you leave Amboseli. Arrive in Nairobi by midday and transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Diani Beach. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach resort for check-in and a relaxed afternoon by the Indian Ocean.

Spend your evening enjoying the coastal breeze and a delicious dinner by the sea.

Day 9: Leisure at Diani Beach
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner | Stay: The Sands at Nomad or Similar

Enjoy a full day of leisure on the white sands of Diani Beach. You may choose to relax at the beach, swim in the turquoise waters, or book optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, or visiting nearby Wasini Island.

This is the perfect way to unwind after days of adventure in the bush.

Day 10: Departure - Diani to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi. Depending on your international flight schedule, a day room in Nairobi can be arranged upon request.
