Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park –  Afternoon Game Drive

Meals: Lunch, Dinner | Stay: Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Your Private Kenya Safari begins with a morning pickup from Nairobi. After a short briefing, set off in your 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, heading south toward Amboseli National Park, famed for its free-roaming elephants and dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Upon arrival, check in to Amboseli Sopa Lodge, set in lush gardens beneath acacia trees. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for your first game drive. Amboseli’s open plains offer incredible opportunities to spot large elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of antelope species. Keep your camera ready for big cats moments with lions or cheetahs, often spotted near the swamps.

As the sun sets behind Africa’s highest peak, return to the lodge for a warm dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Safari – Game Drives, Kilimanjaro Views & Maasai Village Visit

Wake up to the fresh Amboseli air and enjoy a hearty breakfast as you prepare for a full day of wildlife exploration. Your experienced guide will lead you through various ecosystems including swamps, dry lake beds, and acacia woodlands, offering diverse habitats for wildlife viewing.

Carry a picnic lunch to enjoy within the park, allowing you to spend more time immersed in Amboseli’s wild beauty. Amboseli is one of the best places for an elephant safari in Kenya, where you can see entire herds moving gracefully across the savannah. Keep your eyes open for Big Five and enjoy spectacular Kilimanjaro views on clear days.

In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Learn about the Maasai’s unique way of life, their customs, and traditional dances. You’ll have the opportunity to see their manyattas (mud homes), interact with village members, and support local artisans through handmade beadwork and souvenirs.

End your day with another golden sunset over the plains, followed by dinner and storytelling under the stars at the lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi –  Departure

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast as you take in your final moments surrounded by nature. After check-out, begin your return journey to Nairobi, passing through the scenic landscapes of Kenya’s countryside.

Depending on your travel plans, you may opt for an optional day room and lunch in Nairobi before heading to the airport or your hotel. Your Kenya safari ends with lasting memories of elephant encounters, Kilimanjaro views, and the unmatched charm of an African safari.
